This is a joke, I came up with while on a road trip. It was "the funniest thing that I could do with $20 and a few hours of free time" I told myself as I printed the tax forms. If it worked Mark would be in space, I could get years of entertainment out of the deal just thinking about it, yet there is still more to gain from this. You the fans could laugh as hard as I do just thinking about it. A dollar isn't the only thing you can donate, just a shared link would be nice. Share it on which ever social media you choose just to cheer up someone who needs the pick up at work.

I finished filing taxes for 2017 and realized that raising money to send Mark into space would never work. Aside from lack of willing donors, Mark would probably just give the money to charity. He would probably think about all the good it could do. Offer the funds to whichever charity he is currently steaming for without hesitation. With that kind of selflessness in mind, Send Markiplier to Space will from now on only be excepting donations for the common good. Funds collected will be used to support other charities and to organize fundraisers.
